Solar innovation The Sunflower, developed by Energy Innovations uses mirrors to reflect the sun photovoltaic rays into a receiver that potentially delivers the power of 500 suns.
"What we tried to is reduce the amount of material by concentrating light with the use of mirrors" says Andrew Beebe President of Energy Innovations.
A massive array of mirrors that track the sun all day long, reliably and repeatedly, concentrates the light.
This could potentially be a revolutionary way of harvesting solar power.
