"The soil we nurtured for over 40 years was ruined in a second" says farmer Koike Kouichi.
This short documentary shows the struggle to repair the bonds that were destroyed overnight between the farmers, the soil, the consumers, the communities and the circle of life.
Some are sowing crops just to cleanse the soil. Others have left. Others wait. Wait for how long? What's next? Their spirits and determination are clear in this heartbreaking footage.
