Fergus Drennan from the UK hasn't eaten store bought food in two years. He is a master forager -- living off of what he can find in nature.
He finds plenty of edible plants, mushrooms and berries in the wild. He picks his own seaweed from the beach.
Some roadkill now and then is also on the menu. Hear him recount his findings: duck, badger, fox, seagull, hedgehog, owl... oh yes and of course squirrel!
Talk about eating local.. this is ultimate eco-eating! His self reliant spirit is inspiring. It's a great reminder that we can all find some edible food in nature this summer to appreciate and reconnect with.
