Enjoy this enlightening journey, as two friends from college set out to buy one acre of corn.
They move to the heartland to learn where their food comes from, and they plant and grow a bumper crop of America’s most-productive, most-subsidized grain on one acre of Iowa soil.
But when they try to follow their pile of corn into the food system, what they find raises many layers of troubling questions.
When this film played premiered in theaters in 2007, I took my father to see it. Previously a life long soda drinker, he has not had a can of soda since seeing this movie.
