Fashion leader Eileen Fisher has a genius approach: she organized her brand stores to take back it's gently worn clothing. Each donated item earns the customer a $5 credit and the garments are resold at Green Eileen storefronts.
Profits are donated to charities supporting women around the world.
"The idea is to preserve the value of the product and to find a new home and a new customer for it." the designer says.
Finally a designer who is really creating garments for the long run, not the fashion season - and who supports great causes while recycling.
