Hungarian architect Elemer Zalotay moved to Switzerland in the 1970's and created his dream home, made almost entirely of recycled materials: plastic, old wood and cracked glass held together with copper.
It's either beautiful and unique, or decrepit and scary, depending on how you look at it.
Either way, at NextworldTV we believe the homes of the future will look a lot more like this than the ultramodern smart home archetype: those sleek, flawless, white and silver, sterile futuristic homes that are run from a digital remote control.
