Here at NextworldTV, we enthusiastically believe in the principles behind supporting local economies, no matter where they are in the world. The more self sufficient a region is, the stronger it is in every way. When people buy local goods and services, more jobs stay in the area, and the web of interdependence creates strength, resilience and in the long term, security and prosperity.
Here in the United States, we are not doing ourselves any favors long term in our Wal- Martized nightmare, our stores overflowing with lower priced goods made overseas while millions of Americans are out of work.
The poor and unemployed are the ones who have no choice but to buy cheap, and most of these goods end up in the garbage heap. We never even had jobs to show for this wasteful consumption.
Wherever you live, support your local economy. If you live in the United States, this video and these statistics are for you!
This campaign is based on a simple message and formula: that if every American buys just a little more "Made In America" we will be able to create 1 million jobs.
They say 5% more. To be clear, this means just 5% more American made goods of the goods that you are ALREADY purchasing.
Let's do it! Pass this video along. We might just create a million jobs!
