Clothing Can Be Conscious

2 million tons of waste clothing is generated every year in the UK. This is comprised of about 60% of synthetic fibers - non biodegradable.

These synthetic materials are a pollution threat to humans, wildlife and the environment.

A gentle reminder to reuse and recycle clothing of course, but also- have a look at one of the companies that use hemp, silk, organically produced cotton and recycled materials in their line.

You can also help by finding a drop off place in your town for recycled textiles when you clean out your closet.
